Nile Crocodile
Crocodylus niloticus
Boss of the Water
Native to Africa and parts of Madagascar, the Nile crocodile stands among the most powerful reptile predators out there. At the top of the food chain, they help keep rivers, lakes, and wetlands healthy and balanced.
At La Vanille Nature Park, we look after over 2,000 crocodiles in secure water systems and fenced areas. Everything runs on clear rules, keeping both people and animals safe, while making sure the crocodiles live well.
Our setups let them warm up, move around, and act naturally day in, day out.

Habitat environments designed for behavioral enrichment and natural interaction.

How We Breed and Raise Them
We manage the crocodile population through controlled breeding and egg incubation. This keeps their numbers stable and protects the species. From tiny hatchlings to full-grown adults, every stage gets hands-on care, clean water, proper housing, and regular monitoring.
Feeding times and enclosure layouts are designed to match natural hunting behavior, with safety as the top priority. When you visit, our guides help you understand the real role crocodiles play in freshwater ecosystems, no fluff, just facts.
